NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center LLC and Novant Health Inc. have filed a certificate of need application with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services for a cost overrun to develop a new 66-bed acute care hospital — Novant Health Scotts Hill Medical Center.
The project is expected to cost $84.9 million and would be completed in October of 2026.
A public hearing for this project will be held June 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the main library meeting room of the New Hanover County Public Library, 201 Chestnut St. in Wilmington.
Anyone may file written comments concerning this proposal.
Comments must be received by the Healthcare Planning and Certificate of Need Section no later than 5:00 p.m. May 31st.
